ATROCIOUS: 8-Year-Old Girl Dies After Suffering from Sexual Trauma on Her ‘Honeymoon’ After Marrying Five Times Her Age.

In Hardh, Northwestern Yemen.  An 8-Year-old girl died who suffered internal bleeding due to the sexual trauma she experienced on her wedding night.

Reports didn’t actually say her husband’s age but it was claimed to be five times her age.

“On the wedding night and after intercourse, she suffered from bleeding and uterine rupture which caused her death,” head of Yemen house said. “They took her to a clinic but the medics couldn’t save her life.”

Most kids of that age still play toys and yet this is an issue of numerous instances of forcing 17 years old and bellow to marry in the Middle East.

Different Human Rights Organization especially the United Nation is calling out for justice for this 8-year-old Yemeni girl’s untimely death and for the situation she has to go through.

Even though the Human Rights Watch (HRW) urged Yemen in December 2011 to ban marriages of girls under 18. Warning that it will deprive child brides of education and can harm their health.

Quoting UN and government data, HRW said nearly 14% of Yemeni girls were married before the age of 15 and 52% before the age of 18. The group said many Yemeni child brides-to-be are kept from school when they reach puberty.

While this story isn’t a consideration of the historical practice of Islamic countries, such outrageous practices have no place in a modern society.

Many of these girls are compelled to marry adult males often 3 or 4 times their age, in predominantly common Islamic Countries.

For countries practising equal rights women should have the right to marry on what age and to who they’d like to get married to.
